The BSA Hazel and Ross Wilson Women's Center has amenities unlike any other hospital in the Amarillo area and offers comfort, convenience, a family-centered atmosphere and a superior medical staff. We invite you to tour the Birthing Suites and see for yourself our compassionate care in the comforts of home.

At BSA you’ll experience “single room maternity care.” This means that you will labor, give birth, recover and receive postpartum care all within the privacy of your own Birthing Suite. Staying in one room from admission to discharge creates a more pleasant experience for the entire family. Since there is a queen-sized bed in each Birthing Suite, Dad or a special guest can stay too. The beautifully tiled private bathroom in each suite has a Jacuzzi tub and shower for the mother's comfort during and after labor.
The outstanding health care team, including some of the finest nurses and physicians in the Panhandle, and the excellent programs such as Childbirth Education and Lactation Services are what really sets BSA apart. Every year more than 2,000 babies are welcomed into the world at BSA.
We have an anesthesiologist available in our labor and delivery area 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to administer epidural anesthesia and help control your pain. C-section births take place in one of our two surgical suites located just steps away from the Birthing Suites. In the event that your baby is born prematurely or needs special care, our Level 3 certified Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is here to serve you. Board-certified neonatologists lead a specialized team of nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, social workers and other caregivers who work together to provide the best care available for your baby.
