Chaplains help patients, visitors and employees cope with times of spiritual distress and emotional crisis. The professional chaplains and trained volunteers provide care in many ways, including
supporting personal spiritual beliefs, enhancing religious coping, aiding adjustment, supporting in trauma and addressing end-of-life issues. Patients may request a visit through a nurse or by calling 212-5343.
The McKee Chapel is located on the first floor near the gift shop. The Chapel is open for spiritual reflection. Services are held regularly. A schedule is posted at the door, or by calling the Spiritual Care Office.
The CARE Channel, Channel 21 on the main campus, provides images of nature and therapeutic music to promote healing.
The Spiritual Care Office assists local clergy in providing pastoral care for all faith traditions and religious groups. Local clergy are encouraged to obtain a clergy badge to wear during hospital visits. The badges are issued in the Spiritual Care Office at no charge. Clergy parking is available on Level B of the main parking garage. A parking placard may be obtained in the Spiritual Care Office.
