Physicians and surgeons at BSA perform a wide-range of orthopedic procedures including:

  • Hand and elbow care
  • Foot and ankle care
  • Sports medicine

Here at BSA, we realize the decision to have your joint replaced may be both exciting and intimidating. When you and your doctor decide it’s time for joint replacement surgery, our Orthopedics department offers an approach to accelerate your recovery.

Total Hip and Knee Joint Camp

One of the best ways to help you prepare for your upcoming surgery and decrease potential anxiety is by attending our Total Hip and Knee Joint Camp, which is offered every Wednesday at BSA Hospital. At Joint Camp, various members of our team will provide you with valuable information to assist in surgery preparation through joint replacement education and the opportunity to ask any pertinent questions. Our staff will prepare you for the following:

  • What to expect after surgery.
  • Instructions in strengthening exercises.
  • Tools that can help before and after surgery.
  • Discharge options available after surgery.

Classes are offered at 2:30 pm on Wednesdays each week in the 7th floor Conference Room at BSA. Call 806-212-2130 for more information.
