BSA’s orthopedic services offer Panhandle patients the most advanced technology and compassionate care.

The orthopedics department at BSA is a 35-bed nursing unit located on the seventh floor, caring for patients on a 24-hour basis who have been admitted for elective or non-elective orthopedic procedures or treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.  Surgical procedures common to this unit are total joint replacement, spinal surgery, fracture and ligament repair.

The orthopedics unit features all private rooms.  Staffing consists of the unit director, shift supervisors,  RN, LVN, NA/NT, and unit secretary staff.  For our patients’ convenience, the main Physical Therapy Department is located on the same floor as our orthopedics unit.
