Surgical Precision Like Never Before

The BSA Robotic Surgery Center provides state-of-the-art technology partnered with physician expertise to provide a safer alternative to traditional surgery for a wide variety of procedures. Backed by a full-service hospital, BSA’s surgical team is here to get you back to your life with minimal or no pain.

As the Texas Panhandle’s first ExcelsiusGPS™ facility and only facility with two daVinci®Xi™ surgical systems, BSA Health System is proud to offer patients surgical solutions with faster recovery times and reduced side effects.

ExcelsiusGPS™ is Providing A Safer Solution for Back Pain Relief

The ExcelsiusGPS™, a revolutionary alternative to traditional spine surgery, is clinically proven to reduce back pain while lowering your risk for surgical-site infections and complications so that you can get back to doing the things you love.

The ExcelsiusGPS™ can be used for:

  • The surgical joining of two or more spinal vertebrae to treat back injuries
  • Surgical correction of spinal deformities
  • Surgical stretching of the spine to relieve pressure caused by one or more compressed nerve roots in the spinal column

How it Works

Prior to your procedure, you will receive a CT scan. Your surgeon will upload images from your scan into the ExcelsiusGPS™ navigation system to create an individualized map of your anatomy which assists your surgeon in precisely placing implants during the procedure. Throughout your procedure, real-time images of your spine will be displayed on a large monitor to ensure surgical precision is met throughout the process.

da Vinci Xi™ is Utilizing Cutting-Edge Surgical Technology for Better Patient Outcomes
