Dr. Babawande Adesibikan is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon dedicated to leaving a lasting impact on the lives of his patients and their families. His passion for medicine began early, driven by a desire to help others and the fulfillment he found in seeing patients overcome illness and disease. Dr. Adesibikan specializes in the surgical treatment of cardiovascular disease and thoracic conditions, with particular interests in coronary artery disease, valvular and aortic disease, and minimally invasive and robotic thoracic oncology, including lung cancer. He primarily treats patients ages 16 and older. He was drawn to cardiothoracic surgery because cardiovascular disease and lung cancer remain leading causes of death in the United States. Dr. Adesibikan is committed to being at the forefront of care for these complex conditions and is especially interested in advancing technologies such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and robotic-assisted surgery.
