About Flint Smith, MD
Flint Smith, MD, believes in providing high-level evidence -based care to all of his patients, while emphasizing the importance of antibiotic stewardship and public health.
His interest in medicine, particularly infectious diseases, began in childhood. At the age of nine, he contracted cat scratch disease, which sparked his fascination with microbes and infections. Dr. Smith was also drawn to infectious disease due to their profound impact on human history and their role in shaping our world.
Dr. Smith specialized in general infectious diseases in adults, including bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections, as well as HIV management.
Dr. Smith has a particular interest in music and enjoys collecting vinyl records, attending concerts and playing guitar. Outside of work, Dr. Smith spends most of his time with family and traveling whenever possible.
