About Priya Mahajan

Priya Mahajan, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who is passionate about providing high quality psychiatric care to her patients. Dr. Mahajan completed her residency in psychiatry at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker School of Medicine, where she also served as chief resident, and holds a medical degree from Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences in Jammu and Kashmir, India. She is a proud member of both the American Psychiatric Association and the Pennsylvania Psychiatry Association.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mahajan has conducted research on topics such as the treatment of patients with opioid use disorder and the impact of resident accountability on psychiatry resident in training examination (PRITE) scores. She has presented her research at numerous conferences and has received several awards, including Vice Chief and Chief Resident at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine.
