For HBO treatment, you will lay in one of our state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen chambers. The HBO chambers at BSA Advanced Wound Care utilize 100% oxygen under pressure to super saturate the blood and plasma with oxygen molecules. This super-saturation of oxygen causes the body to grow more blood vessels and subsequent tissue growth. This growth occurs where there is a void in the body – such as a wound, thus healing wounds from the inside out. The most common wound indications for HBO are non-healing foot wounds, radiation injuries, and certain types of bone infections.
