For HBO treatment, you will lie in one of our state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen chambers. The HBO chambers at BSA Advanced Wound Care utilize 100% oxygen under pressure to super saturate the blood and plasma with oxygen molecules. This super saturation of oxygen causes the body to grow more blood vessels and stimulates subsequent tissue growth. This growth occurs where there is a void in the body, such as a wound, thus healing wounds from the inside out. The most common wound indications for HBO are non-healing foot wounds, radiation injuries and certain types of bone infections.
