BSA Outpatient Therapy Services is a comprehensive rehabilitation facility for patients who are recovering from major illness or injury outside of a hospital setting. Our dedicated team provides one-on-one consultations and treatment plans to help you get back to your everyday life. 

Our highly-trained team offers a wide-variety of rehabilitation services, including:

  • Aquatic therapy
  • The area's only certified cardiac rehabilitation program 
  • Lymphedema therapy to treat buildup of lymph node fluid in the arms and legs 
  • Diabetes education classes and dietitian consults
  • Occupational therapy
  • Pediatric therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Wheelchair evaluations and fitting 

 

Cardiac Rehabilitation Education Classes

The BSA Cardiac Rehab Program offers a free six-week revolving education series which will cover topics related to heart and general health. Each class is taught by cardiac rehab nurses, dietitians, pharmacists and past program participants. Diabetes Education Classes

BSA Outpatient Therapy Services offers a free, seven week diabetic education series. A free lunch will be served at each class. Each participant is encouraged to bring a support person with them. 

Presenters will discuss a variety of diabetes health topics including:

  • Being active. 
  • Getting motivated to manage diabetes. 
  • Making your diet work for you. 
  • Monitoring blood sugar levels. 
  • Practicing medication safety.
  • Skin and foot care.
